In accordance with the French Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to personal data and the EU General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (“GDPR”), we inform you that you are subject to a processing of your personal data.
Indeed, we, XPO Logistics Europe, a joint stock company under French law registered with the Trade and Companies Register of Lyon under number 309 645 539 and whose registered office is at 192 avenue Thiers 69006 Lyon, France, process some of your data for our platform “XPO Connect”, which is used by our clients and our carriers to ease the management of their business.
To have access and use XPO Connect, our clients and our carriers can create administrator and user accounts for you. Such accounts require the processing of your personal data. Without such data, the use of XPO Connect by our clients and our carriers will not be possible. Therefore, this processing of your data is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate commercial interests of our company and of our clients and our carriers.
The personal data we process are the ones which are necessary for the creation of the accounts and concern your identity (name, first name) and your contact details (phone number, e-mail address).
These data can be transmitted to our internal services (in particular to our support and business teams), to our affiliate companies to our partner companies.
We keep these data as long as your account is active and for six months after the deactivation of your account.
In application of articles 16 to 21 of the GDPR and under the strict conditions specified by them, you have the right to object and the right to restriction of processing as well as a right of access, rectification, erasure and portability of your data.
